چکیده
To recover the biogas from sewage sludge and paper waste (PW), methanogenic performance of thermophilic anaerobic co-digestion with PW was assessed by a continuous experiment. The effects on production microbial community were investigated changing ratio 0 to 66.7%. optimal obtained at sludge: = 4:6 (total solids), where COD removal efficiency increased 58.34±5.90% 72.92±0.08% 438±53 594±72 mL/g-VSadded, respectively. By investigating trend carbohydrate protein degradation rates, competition between quantified. critical addition about (63.64%), rate decreased zero increasing addition. Meanwhile, analysis showed that cellulolytic bacteria outcompeted proteolytic be predominant group after

Anaerobic co-digestion of coffee waste and sewage sludge.
The feasibility of the anaerobic co-digestion of coffee solid waste and sewage sludge was assessed. Five different solid wastes with different chemical properties were studied in mesophilic batch assays, providing basic data on the methane production, reduction of total and volatile solids and hydrolysis rate constant. Most of the wastes had a methane yield of 0.24-0.28 m3 CH4(STP)/kg VS(initia...
متن کاملAnaerobic Co-digestion of Sewage Sludge with Cheese Whey under Thermophilic and Mesophilic Conditions
Anaerobic digestion of sewage sludge (SS) and co-digestion with cheese whey (CW) was evaluated in batch conditions under mesophilic and thermophilic regimens. Results indicated that the co-digestion can be successfully attained despite some inhibitory stages that may be initially present due to the accumulation of volatile fatty acids. Degradation of the mixture SS-CW followed a similar pattern...
متن کاملThe effect of cefazolin on biogas production from thermophilic and mesophilic anaerobic co-digestion of dairy manure and waste milk
* Corresponding author ([email protected]) Abstract: Antibiotic residues in animal waste from concentrated animal feeding operations are of considerable concern because of the potential development of antibiotic resistant bacteria in the environment and the effect of these residues on manure treatment systems. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of cefazolin (10 mg L) dur...
